**BOOSTER DOSES**
A booster dose is recommended when the immune response to the initial vaccine has likely decreased over time. The CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommends certain populations receive a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Boosters of Pfizer-BioNTech and Janssen (J&J) are both full doses, while Moderna's booster is a half dose.
Pfizer-BioNTech:
The CDC recommends a booster dose at least 6 months after completing the primary series for individuals ages 18+.
- 2-dose series for initial vaccination
- FDA-approved for ages 16+
- EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) for ages 5-15
Moderna:
The CDC recommends a booster dose at least 6 months after completing the primary series for individuals ages 18+.
- 2-dose series for initial vaccination
- EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) for ages 18+
J&J (Janssen):
The CDC recommends a booster dose at least 2 months after completing the primary dose for individuals ages 18+.
- 1 dose for initial vaccination
- EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) for ages 18+.
Mix & Match COVID -19 Vaccine Boosters:
You may choose which COVID-19 vaccine you receive as a booster shot. Some people may  prefer  the vaccine type that they originally received, and others may prefer to get a different booster. CDC’s recommendations now allow for this type of mix and match dosing for  booster shots.
Rankos' Stadium Pharmacy is honored to be a leading provider of the COVID-19 vaccinations to our community. We receive several requests to replace vaccine cards on a daily basis. We appreciate your understanding as we impose a $5.00 fee for this service. The fee covers our staff's time to coordinate resending your card in addition to the cost of mailing.

We have a dedicated COVID -19 email for all COVID -19 questions:
We realize this is a difficult time for everyone & we are here for you. Please DO NOT CALL the general pharmacy line with appointment & COVID -19 questions. This line is RESERVED for pharmacy patients and prescribers. Calling our pharmacy line slows processes and decreases our ability to provide vaccinations & increase appointments.

V-safe is a smartphone-based tool that uses text messaging and web surveys to provide personalized health check-ins after you receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Through v-safe, you can quickly tell the CDC if you have any side effects. Depending on your answers, someone from CDC may call to check on you and get more information. V-safe will also remind you about further vaccine doses if needed.
